Many changes have been made to the Dodge Charger for the 2017 model year, including a new 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system, new color options and a number of updates to the SRT model. Something we are particularly excited about, however, are the all-new Dodge Charger Daytona and Daytona 392 models.

You may remember these models from the past, but they were last seen as part of the 2013 model year. Now, they’ve returned as new additions to the 2017 Charger lineup and come with features that add heritage-inspired style and peak performance to the vehicle. Let’s take a look at what’s included.

2017 Dodge Charger Daytona Engine and Performance Specs

These Daytona models will deliver even more performance to the Charger lineup with two different engines. The Daytona model comes with a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 producing 370 horsepower, while the Daytona 392 model is equipped with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 that puts you in control of a best-in-class 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque.

In addition, the tires on the Daytona models are wider for better handling. The Charger Daytona is equipped with 20 x 9-inch high-performance Goodyear tires, while the Daytona 392 has 20 x 9.5-inch Pirelli tires. Both models also have better brake pads engineered for performance driving.
