2018 Chevy Traverse
The Chevy Traverse has been in the SUV market for a long time now, and it continues to be a top option for drivers looking to take home a three-row midsize crossover. That certainly won't change for 2018, either, as new updates and additions to the popular vehicle have made it better than ever.
If you'd like to get behind the wheel, you can stay updated on its availability for a test drive by contacting us here at Parks Chevrolet using the form below or by phone at 316-775-5445. If an SUV isn't safe, the rest really doesn't matter when it comes to your family. The 2018 Traverse certainly impresses in this area, however, as it comes with a new Traction Mode Select feature that allows you to adjust the vehicle to better handle varying road conditions. It also offers state-of-the-art equipment like Full Speed Forward Automatic Braking and Lane Keep Assist.
The Chevy Traverse sports a whole new look for 2018. We'll let photos of the vehicle do most of the talking here, but a few features worth pointing out include the addition of new chrome exterior accents, LED signature lighting and available D-Optic LED headlights. An RS trim includes blacked out design cues like a black chrome grille.
The Traverse can be powered by a 310-horsepower engine that pumps out 266 lb-ft of torque or a 2.0-liter turbo with 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, plenty of power for anyone's day-to-day drive. Moreover, these engines are paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission and an available Intelligent Stop/Start system (the first of its kind for Chevy), helping to boost fuel efficiency.
2018 Chevy Traverse RS and High Country Trim Levels
There is a lot to talk about when it comes to the new Traverse, but what has many Chevy fans talking are the two new trim levels for the 2018 Traverse: the RS and High Country models. We've already briefly mentioned the RS trim, which delivers a sportier look thanks to blacked out design features like black bowtie logos, black roof rails, a Signature Black Ice grille and gloss black window trim.
The High Country trim takes a different approach, aiming for luxury and sophistication. This is exhibited through a unique chrome grille and Intellibeam headlights. Inside, the Traverse High Country provides Loft Brown leather appointments, as well as a power-folding third row seat. To top it all off, every single safety and convenience package the Traverse offers in its lineup, the High Country has it.
