The Stingray is the most affordable Corvette model, but that doesn’t mean it lacks for power. Under the hood, it takes advantage of a 6.2-liter V8 powerplant that produces 460 horsepower and can propel the Stingray from 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. This model is available as both a coupe and a convertible.
For 2018, the Z06 represents the pinnacle of Corvette performance. This model was developed alongside the C7.R racecar making it closer to a race car than a streetcar. It puts a supercharger under the hood giving the 6.2-liter V8 a ridiculous amount of power. With 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, a smile will stretch across your face as your head is pinned to the back of your seat.
The Grand Sport is the newest addition to the Corvette lineup, but it has a heritage that goes all the way back to 1966. Despite us saving this model for last, it actually sits between the Stingray and the Z06. The reason we saved it for last is because it offers a unique blend between the model below it and above it. While it offers the same robust Stingray engine, it also offers many of the aerodynamic qualities of the Z06. Like other Corvette models, it is available as either a coupe or a convertible. The Grand Sport also has exclusive heritage packages that pay tribute to the model’s history with unique flares and accents on both the interior and the exterior.
