Parks Family Dealerships - A Legacy Family-Style Business

The Parks Motors story begins 70 years ago when Fannie Parks had the idea to open a Chrysler dealership when her husband, Dan, returned home from World War II. Thus Parks Motors was founded in downtown Wichita. After Dan’s death, Fannie sold the dealership to his brother, Doug Parks. Even after the sale, Fannie Parks continued to be a fixture at the dealership.

In February of 1990, Parks Motors was sold to John and Saretta Culver. Over the past few decades, the Culver family has worked to continue to build Parks Motors. Our Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram dealership was joined by a Chevrolet store in 2005, expanding the number of vehicles we have to offer our customers.

Today, both dealerships complete with their Service and Parts Departments and a Body Shop operate together on one 20 acre campus located on Highway 54 in between Andover and Wichita and only 9 miles east of Wichita, Kansas. Just 9 Miles East of High Prices, as we like to say!

Parks Family Dealerships also maintain a huge Used Vehicle Inventory of many different pre-owned makes and models. Family-Style means that Parks has served generations of Kansas families over the years; that the chance of you not meeting a member of the Culver family when you are at Parks is slim; and that our Parks Family of Employees understand how to sell and service your family. We got a letter from Capital One saying we were pre-qualified for an auto loan. We were a little apprehensive but after looking over all the cars we decided we would go to Parks Motors. We met Sales Consultant Darren Ensley at the door and showed him our online offer and he took us right to the car we looked at online. We were very surprised when we saw that it was ... the same exact car cause we really wanted that one. Darren let us take a test drive on the highway. We got back looked over the car and went in to finalize the deal. As previously mentioned we were a little apprehensive and were thinking this is too good to be true. So when we went in Darren took our info and passed it to Business Manager Jason Stroot. He took the offer from Capital One and compared it to other lenders that the dealership uses. He actually found us a better deal with a different lender. And we drove away today with the exact car we wanted with a better rate!!!! All in from start to finish it was a great experience. Everybody was very friendly and worked with us to save money and also educate us on some long-term aspects of credit! Not only did we get the car we wanted but we also got a better rate, a GREAT warranty, and a great investment. We will definitely be using Parks Motors in the future!
