The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer has been revived as an all-new subcompact crossover this year with a new exterior styling and spacious cabin. It also is a fuel-efficient powertrain for its available engines. There is a three-cylinder engine that is twin turbocharged and offered with a 1.2 L standard engine and a 1.3 L engine. The Trailblazer name is not unknown to Chevy drivers, but this year it comes in a new, subcompact version with plenty of space. The 1.2 L engine produces 137 horsepower, and the 1.3 L engine has 155 horsepower. The 1.2 L only comes with front-wheel drive and has a continuously variable automatic transmission, while the 1.3 L offers an all-wheel drive option. If you decide to upgrade to the all-wheel drive option, the transmission is also replaced by a nine-speed automatic. The Chevy Trailblazer is able to reach 29 mpg in the city and 33 on the highway.

The interior is great in that it is spacious and functional for the driver and has aesthetically pleasing trims. There is plenty of space to seat four adults in the vehicle and the upper-level models have different colored trim pieces and chrome embellishments to make the interior look more upscale and flattering. There is also a large cargo bay behind the rear seats. The Trailblazer offers even more room as well with fold-flat rear seats as well as a folding passenger seat to create even more space to move cargo around with.

The Trailblazer has new infotainment perks as well in that you can now connect two Bluetooth devices at the same time. It has a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display with an 8.0-inch display available for upgrade. There is also available Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration as well as Sirius XM satellite radio. The Technology package will also allow you to wirelessly connect to the two smartphone interfaces as well. With the base model, there is a four-speaker stereo implemented in the vehicle but upgrading to higher trims can grant you a six-speaker setup or even a premium Bose stereo with seven speakers.
