The 2019 Chevy Malibu is offered with three different engine options. The 1.5L Turbo ECOTEC® comes standard providing you with an estimated 29 mpg for city driving and 36 mpg for highway driving. Next is the available 2.0L turbo engine. This 250 horsepower ECOTEC engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and gets an estimated fuel economy of 22 mpg for city driving and 32 mpg for highway driving. Finally, there is a hybrid option. The 1.8L hybrid engine has an estimated fuel economy of 49 mpg for city driving and 43 mpg for highway driving.
