2017 Pacifica Hybrid Electric and Gasoline Driving Ranges

When we say that the Pacifica Hybrid is reinventing the minivan, we really do mean it. After all, it is the very first hybrid minivan to be offered, and in fact, is the only one currently available.

The Pacifica Hybrid’s drivetrain features a 16-kWh lithium-ion battery, helping the vehicle to achieve up to 80 MPGe in city driving. Best of all, it doesn’t accomplish this by coming underpowered, as the minivan is equipped with a modified version of the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 gasoline engine paired with the eFlite electrically variable transmission.

With this blend of gasoline and electric driving, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is capable of traveling up to 30 miles on purely electric power. When the source of power is mixed, as in a typical hybrid, the vehicle has a maximum range of 530 miles.

How Much Does the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Cost?

Electric and hybrid vehicles aren’t as expensive as they are often believed to be, and Chrysler has made sure that the Pacifica Hybrid is affordable for families on all types of budgets. Though pricing can vary, the starting MSRP on the minivan is $41,995, but you can actually expect to pay much less.

That’s because a vehicle like the Pacifica Hybrid can be eligible for a federal tax credit of $7,500, dropping the starting price to $34,495, and that doesn’t include any state or local incentives. So, as you can see, it pays to drive a hybrid minivan, literally.
